In March, we launched our 3-part  COVID-19 response here aimed at effectively addressing the immediate needs of our staff, school children we serve and their families as the pandemic continues to impact Kenya and the most vulnerable around the world.

We are proud to share our Covid-19 impact highlights as we continue feeding the future of Kenya

We distributed 1,700,000 meals!

Since March, we have had TWO PHASES of distribution that has allowed us to provide over 1,700,000 meals to kids and their families at home.
Our food baskets and vouchers were delivered safely while maintaining social distancing rules. We also distributed face masks and home learning guides for students to continue learning at home.
A big thank you to all our individual and corporate partners.

Using Tap2Eat to distribute food packages

For efficient distribution, validation is key. Our Tap2eat technology was quickly pivoted to support families. 25000 people received food vouchers and dry food while 1000 families received cash transfers. We efficiently delivered over 200 tonnes of food.

#FeedingthroughCOVID19

The COVID-19 pandemic has left many families unable to make ends meet, leaving them even more vulnerable than before. Kids are out of school and many are going hungry at home. We have been telling their stories on our social media platforms. Missed out? Catch the stories here.

Pictures from the ground

Classrooms sit empty and kids who rely on school meals are at an even greater risk of hunger.

Learning for kids across the country has been completely different.

Our incredible team worked tirelessly to ensure kids do not go hungry at home.

It was all smiles every time parents received their food package.
